Coilr infers status from Steam's official concurrent-player numbers; it has no view into the game's own servers. A sharp drop usually means an outage or a breaking update, but launchers, regional issues and store outages can all look different.
Frequently asked
Is Moonlighter down right now?
Moonlighter may be having issues: 162 people are playing, noticeably below the ~271 that is typical for this hour.
How many people are playing Moonlighter right now?
162 people are playing Moonlighter on Steam right now (updated every few minutes from Steam's official player API).
How does Coilr detect outages?
Coilr records concurrent player counts every few minutes. When the live count collapses far below the normal level for that hour of day, that pattern usually means a server outage or a breaking update. Coilr cannot see the game servers directly, so this is an inference from player behavior, not an official status.
